People are always talking about how there is nothing to do in Houston. I have lived here most of my life and have always known that with such a big city – there is always something going on. It’s just a matter of knowing what there is to do. SKISSORS was formed in 2007 on Facebook (The SKISSORS Facebook Group)to bring awareness to the various things going on around Houston and to find people interested in trying new things.

To further the pursuit of finding new things in Houston, SKISSORS EATS was developed as a branch of SKISSORS to focus on food. Someone once said “Food brings people together”.
This group is focused on trying new foods, new places, and just letting people know what Houston has to offer.
